Victor D. Vigil

A private family Mass of Christian Burial and Rosary will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado with Father Henry Wertin as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery.

Victor Damian Vigil was born on November 19, 1999 in La Junta, Colorado to Anita Vigil.  He passed away on September 23, 2020 in Las Animas, Colorado at the age of 20.

Victor was kindhearted.  He was a talented guitarist and artist.  Victor enjoyed fishing and loved old cars and vintage rock and roll music.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Vigil of the home; sister, Brookelynne Vigil of Las Animas, Colorado; stepfather, Lawrence Quintana of Las Animas, Colorado; aunt, Victoria Vigil (Vincent Serna) of Pueblo, Colorado; uncle, John Vigil of Lamar, Colorado; grandmother, Gloria Vigil of Pueblo, Colorado; numerous cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Liven Vigil and cousin, Vincent Martinez.
