A memorial service for Terry Miller will be held at 12:00 p.m., on June 27, 2026 at the Las Animas Elementary School. Per his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to meet at 1318 Kenilworth Ave., La Junta, Colorado at 3:30 p.m. for final disposition on his ashes.
Terry Ray Miller of La Junta, Colorado, passed away on June 14, 2026, at Bent County Healthcare Center in Las Animas, Colorado, at the age of 71. Terry was born on October 27, 1954, in Las Animas, Colorado, to Ellsworth and Vivian (Buhrer) Miller. He was a lifelong Colorado resident who was loved and remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Terry attended and graduated from Las Animas High School in 1973. After graduation, Terry worked at local feedlots, sale barns, and the Scientific Transplant. You could always find Terry cowboying and rodeoing.
Terry is survived by his son, Jerry Don Miller; brother, Larry Miller; sisters, Cheryl Adkins, Kathy Twomey, Linda Smith, and Carol Helphingstine; as well as many other relatives and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth and Vivian Davidson; son, Gaylan Miller; brothers, Donald Miller and Lyle Miller; and sisters, Janice Fulton, Phyllis Minturn and Sandra Robinson.
