Rebecca (Muniz) Jamnik

Mass of Christian Burial for Rebecca Jamnik will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado.  Rosary will be held prior to the Mass at 9:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Fort Lyon National Cemetery.

Rebecca Louise (Muniz) Jamnik was born on March 15, 1948 in La Junta, Colorado to Albert and Lille Belle (Encinias) Muniz.  She passed away on February 28, 2026 at her home in Las Animas, Colorado.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Jennifer Jamnik of La Junta, Colorado, Brenda Jamnik (Jose Arellano) of La Junta, Colorado, and Adrian Jamnik of Las Animas, Colorado; one grandchild, Nickols Campos of Lamar, Colorado; other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Jamnik Sr.; daughter, Katherine Jamnik; and brother, James Muniz.
