Nicholas Bahr

Nicholas Leonard Bahr, known to most as Nick, was born on September 21, 1957 to Lester Marvin and Gwendolyn (Londrosh) Bahr in Miami, Florida.  He passed away on May 5, 2022 in Springfield, Colorado at the age of 64.

Nick enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country until becoming medically discharged after being wounded.  He moved to Utah and later to Las Animas where he lived for 30 years.  Nick was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He loved to fish, camp, and spending time outdoors.

Nick is survived by his only daughter, Amanda McAlister of Lamar, Colorado; siblings, John (Heillen) Bahr of Naples, Florida, Damen (Kimberly) Bahr of Provo, Utah, and Stephanie (Jerry) Horton of Shoals, Indiana; grandchildren, Trinity McAlister and Mistie McAlister; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
