Louis Sanchez

Louis J. Sanchez was born August 4, 1938 at Amalia, New Mexico to Levi and Mary Sanchez.  He passed away on January 10, 2023 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado at the age of 84. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Levi Sanchez; mother, Mary Sanchez; brothers, Ernie Sanchez, Levi Sanchez Jr.; and sister, Cordy Redwine.

Louis is survived by his brothers, Jose E. (Mary) Sanchez of Bountiful, Colorado, Joe Florentino (Mary) Sanchez of La Jara, Colorado, Leroy Sanchez of Las Animas, Colorado; sisters, Solema Gallegos of La Junta, Colorado, Rose Martinez of Las Animas, Colorado, and Mary (Christine) Sanchez of Denver, Colorado; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Per Louis’ request, cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
