Graveside services for Joe Martinez will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2026 at Bent County-Las Animas Cemetery, Elder Chapel in Las Animas, Colorado with interment to follow.

Joe Martinez was born on March 19, 1943 in Las Animas, Colorado to Raymond and Barbara Martinez.  He passed away on July 3, 2026 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 83.

Joe is survived by his sons, Joe Martinez and Nicky Martinez; daughters, Phyllis Martinez, Viola Martinez, Vicky Lopez, and Donna Nino; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary (Ortiz) Martinez; and siblings, Delfie Martinez and Phyllis Sanchez.
