Elvyn V. Tenorio passed away at her home in Las Animas, Colorado on November 23, 2020 at the age of 67. She was born on September 19, 1953 in the Philippines where she met her husband Joe Tenorio, who was serving in the United States Navy.
Elvyn was employed as a healthcare worker for residents of Inspiration Field for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, Filipino food was her specialty. Elvyn always had a food booth for Santa Fe Trail Day in Las Animas and everyone always looked forward to eating her dishes she prepared. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be forever loved and missed.
Elvyn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Joe Tenorio; sons, Harley (Katlyn) Tenorio, Reynoven (Isabel) Tenorio, and daughter, Rezlyn Palma; grandchildren, Max Silver, Reed Tenorio, and Khaleesi Tenorio; mother, Martina Carrillo-Vega; brother, Leonard; sisters, Ruth, Joy, and Merle; in-laws, Sandra, Dale, June Tenorio, Simona Gallegos, Alfred and Euphemia Tenorio.
Per Elvyn’s request, cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Fort Lyon National Cemetery at a later date.
