Clara M. Taber

A Graveside Memorial Service for Clara Taber will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2023 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery with Military Committal Rites provided by American Legion Post #6 and VFW Post #2411.

Clara Mae (Urreta) Taber was born on August 1, 1946 in Lakewood, Colorado.  She passed away on September 27, 2023 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 77.

Clara enlisted in the United States Army in June 14, 1965 and was honorably discharged in December of 1966. She then enlisted in the Army National Guard where she served as an Administrative Specialist and Personnel Administrative Specialist and was honorably discharged on September 28, 1982.  Clara was awarded Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal, and was a Rifle Sharpshooter.
