Barbara L. Garrison

Barbara L. Garrison was born on January 29, 1951 in Pueblo, Colorado.  She passed away in Las Animas, Colorado on May 1, 2024 at the age of 73.  Per Barbara's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held at 158 Moore Ave., Las Animas, Colorado at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  The family asks that those attending wear a hat and share a memory. They would like to express their gratitude  to the hospice team for their love and care, to Sadie for her undying friendship, and to Spooky, Barbara's trusty feline companion.

Barbara is survived by her son, Larry Neeman (Becky); daughter, Shiela; five grandsons, three granddaughters; several great grandchildren all of Casper, WY;  granddaughter, Natasha Salazar (Brenden); great grandchildren, Jasmine, Johana, and Julian Alvarado; great-great grandchild, Nielli Martinez all of Las Animas, CO; mother, Marguerite Shackelford; great niece, Tabitha Hall; great nephew, Matthew Hall; great-great nephew, Sora Slaughter all of  Denver, CO; brother, Gary Garrison of Greeley, CO; and sister; Patricia Simons (Ed) of Pahrump, NV.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carline Mancinas; brother, Fred Garrison; father, Robert E. Garrison; grandparents, Hardie and Lydia Mae Montgomery; and three husbands.
